Terms and conditions governing the use of LaptopXray's browser-based hardware diagnostic utilities, calculators, and guides. Governed by the laws of India.

Last updated: November 5, 2026 • Effective Date: January 1, 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using LaptopXray (accessible at https://laptopxray.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.

2. Permitted Use of Diagnostic Tools

LaptopXray provides 75+ free browser-based diagnostic tools and calculators intended for personal, non-commercial hardware inspection, buyer/seller verification, repair pre-checks, and troubleshooting. You agree to:

  • Use our diagnostic tools in compliance with manufacturer operating thresholds.
  • Not attempt to exploit, reverse engineer, or decompile any proprietary benchmark routines or automated scripts.
  • Not launch automated denial-of-service or scraping attacks against our Cloudflare edge network or search index.
  • Not misrepresent LaptopXray diagnostic logs as official manufacturer warranty replacement authorizations.

3. Disclaimer of Warranties ("As-Is" Service)

All tools, tests, calculators, benchmark scores, and technical guides on LaptopXray are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

Browser-based diagnostic tools operate within the security constraints and sandbox boundaries of client web browsers. Environmental factors—such as operating system driver bugs, background application loads, browser power-saving modes, and physical dust—can influence test readouts. We do not guarantee that our tools will detect all hardware failures or intermittent component defects.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, neither LaptopXray, its founder Vishal Jethwani, nor its contributors shall be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of:

  • Your use or inability to use our diagnostic tools.
  • Hardware damage resulting from running stress tests (such as CPU stress or GPU WebGL rendering) on cooling-impaired, overclocked, or already-failing hardware. Users are solely responsible for monitoring device temperatures and terminating stress tests if thermal limits are approached.
  • Financial losses incurred in buying or selling used or refurbished laptops based on diagnostic outputs.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

All original diagnostic scripts, user interface designs, logos, illustrations, schemas, and written troubleshooting guides are the intellectual property of LaptopXray and protected under international copyright and trademark laws. You may copy and print test result reports for personal or repair documentation purposes.

6. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action, dispute, or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Gujarat, India.

7. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to revise these Terms of Use at any time without prior notice. By continuing to use LaptopXray following updates, you agree to be bound by the modified terms.
